Hudson Valley Community College has held tuition stable for a third consecutive year making the college one of the most 负担得起的 higher education options in the state. Full-time students who are New York State residents will pay $2,400 per semester (plus fees). Part-time resident students will pay $200 per credit hour. (见 学费 and 费用).

The Rensselaer County Legislature approved the college’s $91,951,032 budget for fiscal year 2022-23 last evening.

“We want our community to know that Hudson Valley is a safe, 负担得起的, high quality option, and a smart financial choice, especially right now,” said President Roger Ramsammy. “As students and their families make college decisions this summer, they can count on Hudson Valley to help them get ahead, with academic support programs and flexible enrollment options. For those looking to start a four-year degree, our courses are highly transferrable, and our health care, business and technology programs can give students the skills to jumpstart their careers. Overall, Hudson Valley offers students an incredible value.”

Earlier this spring, the college released its Fall 2022 semester schedule, which includes more than 2,000 course sections beginning Monday, Aug. 29. The majority of classes are scheduled to be held on campus but, as it has for several decades, the college also will continue to offer a large number of courses in an online or remote learning format.

Holding the line on tuition is just the latest in a number of actions the college has taken over the past year that continue to make Hudson Valley more accessible to students.

今年夏天, the college is providing a full scholarship for high school students completing summer session courses as well as tuition-free “head start” workshops for those planning to start their college education this fall.

“Our faculty and staff provide extraordinary instruction, opportunities and support to our students, and we’re doing everything we can to keep college as 负担得起的 as possible this fall, ” said President Ramsammy.
